The Location


The grade II listed Carnegie building is Edwardian Baroque based on the Classical Renaissance style. From the entrance a wide corridor with plaster vaulted ceiling leads to the ground floor. A massive marble staircase leads to the first floor, which has a glazed barrel-vaulted ceiling. An artists Co Operative who rent studio space currently occupy the building. It has a gallery, which is open Wednesday to Sunday, with an ongoing programme of exhibitions.



The Arthouse is situated in South East London 20mins from the centre of London (Charing Cross B.R.) 10 mins walk from New Cross/ New Cross gate / Deptford Bridge B.R / Underground stations. Buses 36, 136, 121, 171, 172.

Deposit

The deposit is £60 per person or £20 per person per day. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to the date of the course. I am unable to issue reminders and if the balance is not paid by the proper time then I may offer the place to the next person on the waiting list. To avoid difficulties you may wish to send two cheques at the time of booking, one for the deposit and the other, post dated for the balance. For the studio Pottery courses all fees must be paid in full at the start of the course or £50 in advance for 10 sessions.



Cancellations


Fees are only refundable if cancellation is made 4 weeks prior to the start of the course. For cancellations under 4 weeks the deposit will be retained unless the vacancy is filled.
